The Room

31 secs from 3 minutes 33 seconds

The Room reassesses the interconnection between identity, location and memory and takes as its core direction a visual witchhunt to locate the hooded widow Granny Kempock and ritual of her infamous Stone. The ensuing narration is grounded in a stark reality that paradoxically crosses myth and dream through a cyclical rhythmic pervading real time and internal space. It was filmed during an artist residency to Cove Park, Scotland and filming sites include Fas Lane, nuclear submarine base, Greenock and Dunnon and Firth of Clyde.
