This workshop is for anyone who is interested in the development of ideas and working collaboratively. No previous art experience is required. Participants are required to attend all three sessions 11am – 4pm.
A three-day practical workshop, directly exploring the transformation of an artists’ unrealised idea into a fully realised artwork to be exhibited at Cornerhouse in 2011.
Guided by artist Kai-Oi Jay Yung, participants on this workshop will have the opportunity to select and fully realise an artists’ idea from a collection of Unrealised Projects collated by Mike Chavez-Dawson, Sam Ely and Lynn Harris as part of the exhibition Unrealised Potential. Working collaboratively, you will experience the art making process, making choices, deciphering what materials to use and leading on decisions to produce the final artwork.
